Sea Life in Constance

The first Sea Life in the German inland presents visitors with the world of aqueous inhabitants in over 30 fresh and salt water aquaria with a total of 660,000 litres of water. You will follow the stages of the Rhine, from the Alpen glaciers to Lake Constance to the medieval harbour of Rotterdam, where Rhine finally enters the open sea. As a highlight you will cross through the habitat of the open ocean in an 8 m long tunnel, where over your head sting rays, dog fish and small sharks, and up to 2m long eels will swim by. In the Sea Life Centre there us also the "Bodensee – Naturmuseum". Here you will be able to learn more about the landscape of the Lake Constance region, its variety of plants and animals and the ecological balances.
